Through a five-month creative labor of love, the artists on the CD have produced their own interpretations of 22 classic folk, rock, reggae, and international songs from the 60’s and 70’s which correspond thematically to the 10 chapters in The Next Paradigm book. These artists collectively set out to create versions of the songs which were not reproductions of the originals, but were infused with the character of the artist, thus creating an inspired, creative interpretation of the original. Songs from a variety of original songwriters are on the album, including Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Jackson Browne, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, CCR, Van Morrison, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Bruce Springsteen and Jimi Hendrix.

In the spirit of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense of 1776, The Next Paradigm encourages today’s younger generation to tackle contemporary and top-of-mind issues such as exploring the alternatives to petroleum-based engines, advocating a transactional tax instead of the current tax code in the U.S., reorganizing our current political practices of only two viable parties as well as the limitations of the electoral college, global leadership with a free worldwide market, cost-effective water desalination, prison reform, all-inclusive worldwide internet access, educational financing, and personal reflection.
